The Young Architects of Hamiton relaunched last night after a hiatus due to the pandemic, and did so at their favourite pub, The Pheasant Plucker. Despite the snow, all who braved the weather were treated to an evening of engaging conversation, catching up and exchanging ideas of initatives and events in 2023.
What is the YAH+?
YAH+ is a group of young Architects, Architectural Technologists and Technicians, Interior Designers and other design professionals who live and/or work in the Hamilton area. YAH’s focus is to represent and promote the young and aspiring members of the architectural community in Hamilton. By facilitating conversations about how architecture and its many related fields can influence a community, YAH aims to help build up Hamilton’s bright future.
Is YAH+ the right group for me?
YAH+ is the group for you if you are looking for a welcoming and relaxed environment within which to discuss career aspirations, ask questions, seek advice or just connect with other people within the industry over a pint or basket of fries.
Our members are people working within the architecture industry who are either under 40 years old, new to the profession, or new to the Hamilton/Burlington area. This includes:
students of architecture or any of its related fields
intern architects or intern technologists
architects
interior designers
architectural technologists
architectural technicians
landscape architects
foreign trained architects & designers new to Hamilton/Burlington
