Become a HBSA Member

Members receive benefits that include exclusive access to “member only” programs, e-bulletins on events and issues, and invitations to lectures, receptions, competitions, exhibitions, and social events.

Types of Members

OAA
$45 - Intern
$95 - OAA

This membership type is for Intern Architects and Architects who are Members of the Ontario Association of Architects, and HAVE NOT joined/renewed their HBSA membership through the annual OAA renewal process.

Technologist
$65

This membership type is for Licensed Technologists who are Members of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), and HAVE NOT joined/renewed their HBSA membership through the annual OAA renewal process.

General
$45

If you care deeply about architecture and design in the Hamilton-Burlington Area, then this is the membership for you! General membership is open to everyone, from Foreign Trained Architects to every day Hamiltonian's, wishing to support good design in our city!

 

If you are a member of the Ontario Association of Architects, please choose the OAA membership.

Student
$Free

This membership is for students, including high school students as well as individuals currently enrolled in post-secondary institutions like universities or colleges pursuing a degree or diploma (Bachelor, Masters, Diploma or Advanced Degree).

 

Student members will be required to provide proof of enrollment to complete registration. (e.g. student card, class timetable, etc.) This membership level does not include bridging programs, continuing education courses, and certificates.

Affiliate
$300

For sole proprietors and firms with 5 or less persons in allied industries such as Industry Suppliers, Engineers, Interior Designers, BCIN, Technologists, Technicians and others who support our members and society initiatives.

Membership includes listing on the HBSA website. 

Firm Affiliate
$1000

For Corporate Industry Suppliers, Engineering and Design firms who support our members and society initiatives.

 

Membership includes listing on the HBSA Websites, up to 3 representative participants and introduction presentation.

Membership must be renewed annually and fees are due in January. The HBSA accepts cheques and E-transfers.​
